The Middle States Commission on Higher Education’s Standard III concerns the design and delivery of the student learning experience. Under the new accreditation process, Standard III has not yet been widely cited for follow-up. During June 2019, 5% of follow-up cases involved Standard III (among other standards).
Under the standards that were adopted in 2014, the two principal reasons for follow-up under Standard III are:
- General Education of a sufficient scope: 22% of Standard III follow-up cases
- Periodic assessment of the effectiveness of General Education: 22% of Standard III
