Lehman College Holds “Assessment Unpacked” Workshop

On Monday, May 6, Lehman College held an “Assessment Unpacked” workshop provided by Dr. Su Swarat, Assistant Vice President of Institutional Effectiveness of California State University, Fullerton. The workshop provided an overview of the six-step assessment process utilized at CSU Fullerton. It provided a number of exercises including the development of student learning outcomes (SLOs). It also offered insight into the faculty learning communities (FLCs) that carry out General Education assessment at that institution.

Approximately 60 members of Lehman’s faculty, staff, and administration were in attendance.
