During December 16-17, 2020, the New York City area saw its biggest snowstorm in more than four years and its biggest December snowstorm in nearly 10 years. By the time the snow ended, New York City had received 10.5” snow. Nearby suburbs received a foot or more of snow. In New York State, Binghamton saw its biggest snowfall on record with a whopping 40.0” snowfall.
