Below are three photos I took while I was in New York City to pay respect to all those who suffered from the horrific terrorist attacks of November 13. The title of this blog is based on a letter I came across while outside the Consulat général de France. Although short, this letter simply but powerfully expresses the sentiments of all who have given their condolences. It is a heartfelt message expressed by good people all across the world in their own language and their own unique way. It is worth sharing. It offers a small glimpse what humanity can be at its best. It is a light that has pierced the darkness and sorrow of that terrible Friday.
Dear Paris,
We stand beside you.
Your Sister City,
NYC
