2016 Assessment Network of New York Conference

The Assessment Network of New York (ANNY) will be holding its fourth annual conference on April 18-20, 2016. The annual conference will be hosted by the University at Buffalo in Amherst, New York.

The theme of this year’s conference is “Innovation in Assessment.”

The featured speakers are:

Dr. Andrea Lex: Senior Vice President for Operations and Chief of Staff at the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE).

Dr. Ashley Finley: Associate Vice President of Academic Affairs & Dean of the Dominican Experience at the Dominican University of California and the National Evaluator for the “Bringing Theory to Practice” (BTtoP) Project.

Dr. Jillian Kinzie: Associate Director, Center for Postsecondary Research Indiana University School of Education, NSSE Institute and NILOA Senior Scholar.

Registration will be open until Friday, April 11, 2016. One can obtain conference details and register at the ANNY website’s dedicated webpage.

With some 60 New York State colleges and universities, including 11 CUNY or SUNY schools, slated to submit their Self-Study Reports during the 2017-2019 timeframe under MSCHE’s new standards, the conference can provide valuable insight in advance of MSCHE’s Collaborative Implementation Project outcomes.
