The transition from winter, across spring, and toward summer is continuing. Already, the landscape has seen daffodils, magnolia, tulips, and azaleas come and go. Spring’s diverse range of colors is now yielding to summer green. Butterflies are now growing more numerous. The variety of birds has increased and the first new generation of Robins has been born.
Below are four photographs showing the transition through a slice of spring around the New York Botanical Garden’s renowned Enid A. Haupt Conservatory.
