Another week has passed, and the unprecedented autumn heatwave of 2024 continued in Arizona. Through Saturday, October 12th, Phoenix had broken or tied its daily record high temperature on 19 consecutive days. No American city had set or tied records on more than 14 consecutive days. The heat should finally break early this week.
