After a wet first week of April that saw 1.94” rain fall at New York City’s Central Park, drier spring-like conditions returned the following week.
The warmth crested just after mid-month. Sunday, April 16, offered an early preview of summer. Under bright sunshine and a warm wind, the temperature soared to 87°.
