Spring Reaches Peak Glory

With April running warmer than normal following a warm March and exceptionally warm winter, spring foliage has reached its peak in many parts of the New York City area. At the New York Botanical Garden, the magnolias are now past their peak bloom, weeping cherry trees and Japanese cherry trees are in full bloom, and an expansive number of flowers have exploded into bloom.
