Less than a week after a major snowstorm dumped 17.4” snow in New York City and two feet or more in many locations to the north and west of the City, another storm brought several hours of moderate to heavy snow to the City and nearby region. New York City picked up 4.5” snow while areas outside the City picked up 6”-9” snow.
Through February 7, monthly snowfall is 19.9”. That is the highest February total since 2014 when 29.0” fell. Seasonal snowfall is 32.5”, which is the highest since winter 2017-18 when 40.9” was measured.
