During October 15-16, 2020, the Assessment Network of New York (ANNY) held a regional conference entitled “Collaboration in Assessment.” The conference was conducted entirely over Zoom on account of the continuing COVID-19 pandemic. The conference devoted significant time to issues of equity in Higher Education.
The conference had two keynote speakers. Marjorie Dorimé-Williams, of the University of Missouri, spoke about promoting equitable student success through socially just assessment. Tim Renick, of Georgia State University, provided an analysis of how that institution achieved increased student success for an increasingly diverse student population using data and analytics.
Both keynote speakers’ presentation slides are available on the ANNY website.
