Since my last visit to China five years ago, the air quality has improved markedly. Back in 2019, it was rare to see blue skies during the summer in Beijing. Most of the days on which there was partial or full sunshine saw blue skies in Beijing this time around. Below is a photo from the Temple of Heaven.
