A number of blog pieces covered the journey through spring at the New York Botanical Garden. Over the weeks comprising spring, optimism sprung anew as more and more people were vaccinated against COVID-19, the economic recovery gained steam, and the pace of life quickened as the Pandemic’s freeze loosened its grip.

At the Garden, a variety of flowers and blossoms created colorful moments. Daffodils, cherry trees, azaleas, irises, and others left memories that were consistent with the emergence of a post-pandemic reality. The spring season ended with roses of all assortments bursting into bloom. At the height of the bloom, the flowers drew people much as they typically draw butterflies, bees, and other pollinators.
