A Trip to Iceland

PRINT AS PDF

Summer often provides one an opportunity to travel. Travel, especially overseas, can provide on with rich, unique, and lasting experiences that broaden one’s horizon and sense of culture.

This summer, I traveled to Iceland. There, I was able to glimpse the rapidly receding glaciers, walk among Reykjavik’s colored buildings, witness the awesome power of some of that country’s magnificent waterfalls, and see its iconic puffins. I was also able to dine on Icelandic fare including salmon, trout, fermented shark, and even whale steak.

Below are some photos from my recent trip.
