The New York City area shivered through its coldest November in seven years. December started off with some sleet, freezing rain, and rain in the City. Just outside the City, there was a period of snow that whitened the ground and provided a reminder that it is now the winter season. Soon, the Hanukkah and Christmas holidays will be upon us, final exams completed, and winter break started.
